A fan favourite at the Barcelona Grand Prix. Why? Because from here, you can see three corners: the cars dive into Turn 1, battle through Turn 2, and speed into Turn 3. The higher your seat, the better your view. This grandstand has recently been fitted with a roof, so shade is guaranteed.
Located in the middle of the circuit, Grandstand M offers a prime view of the action between Turns 4 and 6. You’ll see the cars exit Turn 4 and speed towards Turn 5. This grandstand also offers protection from the blazing Spanish sun.
Grandstand L is hard to beat. It has everything you could want: a great view of the action, cover and a big screen nearby. No wonder it’s a fan favourite! Is it already on your list?
A few corners later, we arrive at Grandstand S, which is split into two sections. From here, you can see the cars coming out of Turn 8 and preparing for Turn 9. Then they speed down the straight and vanish into the distance. This is a crucial part of the lap, as the drivers prepare for the final sector.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya offers a variety of grandstand options. Which grandstand you choose depends on various factors. Below, we take a lap of the circuit and examine them one by one, in the order that the drivers pass them.
We start, of course, on the long main straight. The first grandstand here is the Main Grandstand. As at many other circuits, this offers a perfect view of the start/finish line and the pit lane. In short, it’s the place to be if you want to be at the heart of the action.
Located right next to the Main Grandstand, Grandstand J is an open stand offering a superb view of most of the straight and the approach to Turn 1. You can also see the end of the pit lane. Drivers prepare to accelerate again here, so you’ll experience plenty of speed and tension.
Next, we have three grandstands that are perfectly positioned: K, E and F, all of which offer similar views of the end of the main straight. Grandstand F offers the best view of the action at Turn 1 and, from this area, you can even catch a glimpse of Turn 6. If you are a big fan of overtaking, these are perfect for you!
A relatively new addition to the circuit. Grandstand T1 has been available since the 2024 edition. It offers a wide view of the straight as the cars race towards you, as well as views of Turns 1 and 2. The only downside is that you’re seated a bit farther from the track.

Located right next to Grandstand S, Grandstand N is uncovered and has general admission zones on both sides, so the atmosphere is fantastic. Here, you can watch the drivers exit Turn 8, push through Turn 9, and then charge down the straight towards Turn 10. How much of the straight you can see depends on your seat location.
Named after the corner it overlooks, Grandstand T10 offers great views of a heavy braking zone. After the long straight, drivers have to slow down sharply for Turn 10. This makes it a great place to see who’s best positioned heading into the final section of the lap.
Now, we enter the final, more technical part of the track. Grandstands B, G and C are all located in the famous stadium section of the circuit. Positioned around turns 11, 12 and 13, it almost feels like the drivers are entering an arena. You’ll have a view from Turn 10 all the way through to Turn 14. It’s a guaranteed action zone!
Last but not least: Grandstand H, which gives you a fantastic view of the stadium section and the final corner of the lap. It’s the ideal spot to witness the race climax up close!
With so many grandstands to choose from, we understand that it can feel a bit overwhelming. That’s why we’ve put together a handy overview table. You’ll find details of what each grandstand offers in terms of track view and price category, as well as a few other helpful details. Since the Spanish sun can be intense, we’ve also included information on whether each stand is covered — so you’ll know whether to bring extra sunscreen or relax in the shade.
