Yellow Red Royal Football Club Mechelen is a Belgian club which was founded in 1904. In the 80s the club quickly became a national top club. In these golden years, the team won the Cup of Belgium, the European Supercup and the European Cup II. In 2019, the club won the Cup of Belgium again this time from KAA Gent. Because KV Mechelen did not gain entry to the Europa League and KAA Gent did, there was some rivalry between the two teams.

The stadium has 1999 seats, 3150 standing places and 321 skybox seats. Next to the stadium there is also a practice field that is used by the youth academy of KV Mechelen.
