Mouth watering Weekend

World class matches & Derby’s

The first weekend we are really looking forward to is 25th September where Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will play their north London derby and Manchester City visit Chelsea. Two games to wet your appetite.

Liverpool and Manchester City, the champions of the past two years, will face each other for the first time on October 2nd. A month later, the first Manchester derby will be played on November 6th at Old Trafford. The first half of the season ends on Boxing Day (December 26th), when all teams come into action. Football at Christmas is an English tradition you should definitely experience.

Get to know the new teams

In addition to the traditional top clubs, it is always nice to fully blend into a smaller club during a match day to get to know them better. The Premier League welcomes three new teams this season: Norwich City, Watford and Brentford. All unique clubs with their own identity that add excitement to the Premier League.

Norwich City gained promotion as champions, remarkably Norwich have supporters from all over the world. In the stands they are united and with constant vocal support they encourage their shared love of the game.

Watford are also making their comeback to the top stage. The Hornets can count a famous singer among their supporters: Sir Elton John, who is an honorary life-president for his favourite club. Prior to every home game, his song ‘I’m Still Standing’ is sung by the Watford fans.

Brentford have had to wait 74 years to get back to the top stage. The west London club won the play-offs against Swansea City and are playing in the Premier League for the first time ever. No longer at the familiar Griffin Park, but at the brand new and modern Brentford Community Stadium. A new era begins for The Bees.
