The spectacular opening of the Formula 1 season since 2021. Apart from 2011, the Bahrain has been on the F1 calendar every single year and will remain so until at least 2036. Due to the high desert temperatures, the race is held earlier in the year and only in the late afternoon/early evening. The Bahrain Grand Prix is one of the best events to attend as a race fan thanks to its affordable tickets, guaranteed grandstand seats and lower capacity. Heads up, in 2024 the opening race will take place on Saturday to accommodate Ramadan.

The second race in the 2024 F1 calendar is the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, which will also take place on a Saturday. The fast street circuit of Jeddah Corniche has at least 27 corners and drivers reach an average speed of 250 kilometres per hour. The quickest lap ever recorded at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix was achieved by Lewis Hamilton in 2021. Last year Red Bull’s Sergio Perez took pole position ahead of Max Verstappen – we can’t wait to see how the race will unfold in 2024.

After a three-season absence due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Chinese Grand Prix is finally back! The last time the Formula 1 circus touched down in China was in 2019, when the 1000th Formula 1 Grand Prix was held. The layout of the circuit is based on the Chinese ‘Shang’ (上) sign, which means ‘ascend’ and from which the city of Shanghai gets its name. The race is on the Formula 1 calendar until at least 2025, so make sure you attend before it’s too late.

Can anyone beat Max Verstappen at the Miami Grand Prix? The last two times, the Dutchman was too fast for anyone around the Miami International Autodrome. The 5.4-kilometre circuit runs around Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins. This Miami street circuit is incredibly narrow in some parts, and with speeds of up to 350 km/h it’s a guaranteed spectacle! Keep an eye on the end of the DRS zones at corners 1, 11 and 17 for the best overtaking action.

The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, better known as Imola, is a breathtaking circuit set in a forest near Bologna. The circuit is named after Ferrari founder Enzo and his son Dino. It’s one of the few circuits on the F1 schedule with only one DRS zone. Unfortunately, the 2023 race was cancelled due to heavy flooding in the area surrounding the track. So, all eyes will be on the 2024 race!
