The Singapore Grand Prix is a special street race in the evening. The Formula 1 drivers race on Marina Bay Street Circuit right through the city center of Singapore. Because of its location on the harbor, the Singapore Grand Prix is often compared to the Monaco GP. The circuit, completed in 2008, demands a lot of effort from the drivers because of the 23 corners and the high humidity. An intense race that provides entertainment for fans on location.

Marina Bay Street Circuit is known for its night racing. The first Formula 1 night race was held at the Marina Bay Circuit Park in 2008 and a Grand Prix evening race is also scheduled in 2026. The street circuit in Singapore goes straight through the beautifully lit city centre and along Marina Bay. Although it is a street circuit, it was also designed by Hermann Tilke, a well-known race track architect. The spectacular track is 5.067 km long, with 3 DRS zones and the drivers will race 61 laps. The track passes several local landmarks, including the Singapore Flyer and the Supreme Court, the passage over the old Anderson Bridge is also a famous landmark.
Singapore would certainly be one of the toughest circuits for drivers and the cars also, with the climate, duration, bumps, walls, kerbs and lots of braking.
The Singapore circuit is driven at night, through the streets and along Marina Bay. A magical circuit lit up by the city centre. A very different feeling to a daytime race. Marina Bay Street Circuit is for sure a must-go circuit, because you will be amazed!
The Singapore Grand Prix weekend is not just about the Formula 1 race. It feels like a big festival rather than a standard race weekend. There are performances by major artists and local talent throughout the weekend, as well as multiple fan zones that give it a special atmosphere.
Besides all the A-star performances, there is plenty to do in both fan zones. According to many, the Singapore has the best food and drink venues of the entire F1 calendar. As at Zandvoort, there is also a Ferris wheel during the Singapore Grand Prix. A unique opportunity to take in the circuit and the stunning views of the city.
