Zandvoort Grand Prix information

During the renovation of the circuit in 2019 / 2020, the corners ‘Hugenholtzbocht’ and the ‘Arie Luyendykbocht’ were converted into unique bowl corners. In the process, the circuit became slightly shorter to 4.259 km. As a minimum of 305 km has to be covered in every Grand Prix race, the drivers will do 72 laps around the circuit. Furthermore, the circuit is characterised by two DRS zones. These areas are often used for extra power for passing other drivers.

What is the circuit like?

It is a challenging track for any driver. If you are fast at Zandvoort, it says a lot about your level. It is therefore one of the favorite circuits of the very best drivers!

Around the track

The Formula 1 race on Sunday is, of course, the highlight of the weekend. But besides the race, there is so much more to experience on and around the circuit. For example, at the F1 Fanzone, located behind the Arie Luyendyk corner, you’ll find performances from Dutch artists, merchandise stalls and even a Ferris wheel to view the circuit and the beach from above.
