Borussia Dortmund has appointed its first official ticket partner to sell their tickets, namely P1 Travel. The travel company is a specialist in sports events and competitions all over the world. It is also unique for P1 Travel: for them it is their first German partner.
Travel agency P1 Travel now bears the title of “Official Regional Partner” of Borussia Dortmund and is therefore the only partner of this football club at ticket level. This means that Borussia Dortmund have selected P1 Travel to sell official tickets within the British and Dutch market. P1 Travel already has contracts with many major football clubs in England and Spain, among others, but is also expanding its official offer to Germany. “We are extremely proud to be able to sign another contract this year, especially after a period like corona in which the stadiums were not open,” says Joost Verwer, Partnership Manager of P1 Travel, “the fact that we have this confidence is a promising factor for the future and we look forward to good cooperation.” According to Verwer, the special thing is that Borussia Dortmund has many season ticket holders and because of this high demand for tickets, obtaining single match tickets is difficult. P1 Travel has been allocated a fixed number of seats per match and is therefore guaranteed to sell tickets.
