Real Sociedad
Real Sociedad is a professional football club from San Sebastián, located in the Basque Country of Spain. The club, also known as *La Real*, was founded in 1909 and is a long‑standing presence in Spanish football. Real Sociedad plays its home matches at the Reale Arena, formerly known as Estadio Anoeta. The stadium opened in 1993 and was originally designed as a multi‑purpose sports complex with an athletics track. Over time, the desire grew to make the stadium more suitable for football.

Between 2017 and 2019, the stadium underwent a major renovation, during which the athletics track was removed and the stands were brought closer to the pitch. This created a much more intense atmosphere. Today, the Reale Arena has a capacity of over 39,000 spectators and is considered a modern and atmospheric stadium, where the passion of the Basque supporters is clearly felt.
