Enjoy the thrilling title fight in La Liga
La Liga is one of the most exciting top leagues in Europe. Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona all have a chance to win the Spanish title. The three top teams are evenly matched, so next season we can enjoy a great title fight. P1 Travel is the official ticket partner of all three clubs and takes a closer look at them one by one.
Diego Simeone’s fighting machine
The joy was great in parts of Madrid after Atlético Madrid won the title in 2021/2022. The supporters went on the streets with fireworks, torches, singing and honking cars. They were not stopped by anything and celebrated at Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo. On the field of Wanda Metropolitano, the players had to celebrate without an audience. That’s why the team and the socios hope that they can repeat that season’s achievement and celebrate the title together like it should be.
Atlético counts on the clean sheets of goalkeeper Jan Oblak and the goals of Antoine Griezmann & Alvaro Morata. The attackers were very important last season with 28 goals combined. Simeone’s fighting machine remains largely intact and Atlético will attack the title with full dedication. The players fight like gladiators in the arena, over and over again. They are supported by an extremely fanatical audience, which makes Atlético a wonderful club to visit.
Super club looking for revenge
A season with ‘only’ one trophy is considered a bad season for Real Madrid. The club with the most titles in La Liga and the Champions League needs to win more trophies, so demand the supporters. That’s why something has to change next season under Carlo Ancelotti.
The new season offers new opportunities for the entire club. You should never underestimate a super club like Real Madrid. The Whites want to come back better than ever. That will be exciting to watch.
The renovation of Santiago Bernabéu has been ongoing since 2019 and hopefully will be finished sometime this season. The original end-date was planned somewhere in 2022, but because of various reasons the Bernabéu will be back in its full glory this season. Definitely an extra reason to visit the Santiago Bernabéu and see Madrid play.

Many goals expected in Barcelona
No matter the outcome of a season, FC Barcelona always attracts visitors from all over the world. The great history, the beautiful city and the presence of great players are some of the reasons for international football fans to visit Barça. Next season’s matches will not be played at the world-famous Camp Nou. Due to a renovation, FC Barcelona will play its home matches elsewhere for the first time in 66 years. For the 2023/2024 season, Barcelona will move to the nearby Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.
Barcelona football is always attractive and in the stands you can cheer for many goals. We can certainly expect some goals next season, since Barcelona has a powerful attacking force. Robert Lewandowski was involved in a whopping 23 goals in La Liga this season.
