  • 2021 will be a great sports year. Many events that were canceled in 2020 will be organized this year. Are you ready to enjoy live sports again? With our official tickets you can visit your favourite tournament and matches. We have listed the most popular sporting events of 2021 in this blog.

    Wimbledon is back!

For the first time in 75 years, there was no Wimbledon in 2020. In April, the organization already announced that the oldest tennis tournament in the world was moved to 2021. It was the first time since the Second World War that there was no tennis on the grass in London.

But in 2021, Wimbledon is back! From June 28 to July 11 to be precise. Novak Djokovic and Simona Halep have enjoyed their titles as best male and female player for a year longer, but in the summer they really have to fight to defend their title and honor.

The other major tennis tournaments will also be played again. The Australian Open will take place between February 8 and 21. The French Open will be played between May 23 and June 6. And the US Open is scheduled to be the last of the four Grand Slams; from August 30 to September 12.

    European Football Championship

UEFA Euro 2020 had to be a festive tournament because of the sixtieth anniversary of the European Football Championship. Sadly enough, the event was cancelled because corona. But a year later in 2021, we can celebrate our love for football all together!

International matches will be played throughout Europe to determine who is the best. The opening match will be on June 11 at Estadio Olimpico in Roma, between Turkey and Italy. The semi-finals and the final will be played at Wembley Stadium in London. On July 11, the cup will be awarded to the team that deserves the prize the most.

Euro 2020 is the last chance for those who want to see Cristiano Ronaldo play live with Portugal. The Juventus superstar will turn 36 in February and, despite his tremendous fitness, he will not play football forever. Let’s enjoy his skills to the maximum!

    Rugby League World Cup 2021

From 23 October to 27 November England will host the Rugby League World Cup 2021. Sixteen national rugby teams will compete in major stadiums, like Old Trafford, Emirates Stadium and Anfield.

Compared to previous editions, to more countries will compete for the title. The breakdown is like this: seven countries from Europe, seven countries from Asia-Pacific, Jamaica as the only country of the Americas and Lebanon on behalf of the Middle East and Africa.

The top contenders for the title are Australia, New Zealand, England and Tonga. They are all aiming for a place in the final on November 27 at Old Trafford. They will have to fight for it. For you it’s a lot easer to be there as a spectator. We offer the best tickets for the group stage and knockout rounds of the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.

Formula 1; Hamilton aims for the record

The calendar for Formula 1 has been approved and with 23 there is a record number of races on the program. The engines of the cars will probably start for the first time on March 21 in Australia. The season lasts until the end of the year; the last race will be held in Abu Dhabi on 5 December.

Lewis Hamilton can defend his title and is on the hunt for his fifth championship in a row. The British driver can set the record for the most Formula 1 titles. He currently shares that record with Michael Schumacher; both won seven F1 seasons.

The British GP is scheduled for August 2. For Hamilton, the race at Silverstone will be extra special because the pit of the circuit has been bearing his name since last December. It is the first time in history that a part of Silverstone is named after a driver. Hamilton deserved it based on his good performance, which he obviously hopes to repeat in 2021.
